clara was featured on the first day of christmas
as my christmas angel
she is all girl in a family of all boys

paul, noah, and andrew were my wise boys
paul loves to draw and made me
a picture of daniel boone
andrew is a football fan through and through

jordan, mallory and madeline

were part of the wise husbands
 picking beautiful brides
maddie married andrew barrett in april
mallory married daniel barrick in april
jordan married liz robinson in july
i call them "the marrieds"

so let's begin the
NINE NIECES 
AND NEPHEWS
that made santa's nice, not naughty list

1. gracie-my princess quite a lot,
so dainty and sweet
truly one of the most photogenic girls ever
 every photo i take of her
 could grace any magazine or print
just wrapped up soccer
2. johnathan-one of noah's best friends.
he is a sweet dancer
involved in sports and scouts
also on the swim team
and finished soccer too
3. allie-has proven her finesse
on the girl's softball team
 she has become a lovely young woman
i credit her for teaching me
how to curl my hair last summer
i think she would make quite the beautician
4. michael-talented in the arts as well as in playing sports
he entertained us
 with a beautiful christmas piece
 on the piano at the lion house
and will star in the sound of music in the spring
(he didn't even have to audition...the director had to ask him)
was ordained a deacon
5. david-turned a sweet sixteen,
which means driving and maybe dating???
playing on the basketball team
 and he earned his eagle scout award
6. jenn-graduated from pinewood
with the highest honor...the lynn riches' award,
she was a beautiful bridesmaid a couple of times
 and headed off to college at
 brigham young university
7. peter-a master pianist that loves to read. read. read.
so polite and well mannered
 and also plays on the basketball team
8. nathaniel-a junior in high school
 playing on the basketball team for the school
his sense of humor and personality charm the women
early, early morning seminary
9. stephen-a senior in high school,
played football for the idaho falls high school
and was surprised with a scholarship and award
 for his sports, his academics and his charachter
he's the whole package
2nd team all state defensive team
and honorable mention for state defensive team
 he is currently playing on the basketball team
 and i hope to catch a game

as you can see, they are all pretty amazing
 i love them each and every one
 with their unique talent and ability
and awesome personality

i am one proud, happy aunt
it is a gift to be a part of their lives

there is one more
that has yet to make his debut
