DEAR ELDER...P.S.S.S.

truthfully,
i have written a great many letters in my life,
and rarely did i send one
without at least one
P.S.

i also found great joy
in sending a care package
when an event called for
the good deed

and most people know
i have devoted a great deal of time
trying to be funny

so here is the rest of the story
as paul harvey would say
(just google him then)
or the P.S.S.S.
of the letter and previous blog

"the “U”  wreathe was in a whole other " oRbIT"

Perfect for your dad's door...A word to the wise from the gal without wisdom teeth...”U” heard me...never had to have my wisdom teeth pulled.

probably the smallest care package i ever sent

“Remember Elder... to use your MAGNETIC personality as“U” meet and greet investigators and strangers. Continue to WRITE and let me know what is hapPENning...and may the words from your LIPS be SOFT and gentle even when others reject your message.”Y”? because I think “U” are sooo sick (the good kind of sick)

 Love to “U”
Your CRAZY Aunt...

AUNT MICHELLE OBAMA ????
NOT even Stephen !
You are not related to the First Lady

The Michelle , you are related too is baking 450 cookies...
“It is me....Aunt Camera... I mean AUNT REBECCA
It is so hard to think with a CLUB through my head.”

DEAR ELDER...IT WAS COLLEGE WEEK

 Dear Elder Hart,

I love reading your emails !!!!  But I was over the top excited at the snail mail with my address label on it. Love the comments about BYU. NOT ! Believe me, I was used to it by the time I received your letter. I am the “Y” in a “U” fan base.

Yes...BYU lost, but I want “U” to know that I was a good “SPORT” I was sure to congratulate all the “Ute” Supporters on their win.

The following week was college week in which we were to decorate our doors with the college of our choice. I share a room with a “UTE” and so we were a house (door) divided...living proof that both "Y" fans and "U" fans can work in peace and harmony.

I went shopping for things showing Cougar Pride and let me tell “U”...
“UTE” memorabilia overshadowed “Cougar” items ten to one...so I ended up buying a few things for “U” . I on the other hand, had to create my own trinkets. I ended up making my own necklace and earrings. Let me know if“U” would like a pair :)

Joy (teacher across the hall) had the door that scored the victory win with her fancy schmanzy “U” wreathe. Hence, the “U”wins again and again I show TRUE BLUE COUGAR sportsmanship.

just a word about COLLEGE WEEK
with an emphasis on continuing education
sponsers COLLEGE WEEK
events are planned to bring exposure to life after high school...
information and how to prepare
for college, university, trade school
and more were part of the week's activities.
the faculty decorated classroom doors
according to the school from which
each earned their degree.
8th grade prepared with a practice ACT test.
9th grade took a field trip to the
university of utah.
surveys were taken to determine fields of interest.
the week then culminated in an answer question panel...
an assembly with a few of ELA's finest teachers
to answer the inquiring minds of the student body
and the school dressed in the college of choice.
college shirts were worn
along with any available accessory...

RIVAL ON THE FIELD, IN GROCERY STORES

there is a great deal of emotion
on the football FIELD
with fans in the stands
or at a local sports bar,

in front of the television,
and yes !
in the GROCERY stores

(goodies, snacks, memorabilia at
HARMON'S grocery
store on redwood and south of 10600)

shoppers in blue
most in red
even tillers and baggers
joined in
the fierce competition so thick,
palatable and delicious
i could almost taste it
though i am a brigham young
 university
graduate married to a
brigham young superfan
i was also born of university
 of utah parents
surrounded by head to toe crimson red brothers
which means
when these two teams play
i always come out a winner
because someone i love
is rejoicing over the outcome
on september 15, 2012
the university
of utah (still wears the smiles)
while the remaining, though may be feeling
blue, held on to hope until
the last micro second
even after ute fans
ran onto the field

most everyone loves an awesome
game with an
exciting ending
or should i say endings
do you know your rival?
