TREASURE THIS

TREASURE
everyone's creativity
that expressed what was in my heart.
google images was overflowing with wonderful thoughts artistically designed
TREASURE
ideas on the numerous sites
of clever bloggers.
tempting... "TIE"rific,
but that was last years gift.
i TREASURE little hands
and the tender phrase of a child saying
"i love you this much"
with outstretched hands.

TREASURE
divine inspiration
(turns out, the primary presidency
planned to do the little hands project
for a FATHER's day gift
in sharing time.)

i made a very last minute switch to
 an idea that
"POPPED"
into my head
(prompted by "TIE"rific)
i had bags of POP secret POPcorn
extra envelopes
and scraps of paper.

inasmuch as i work with little hands and fingers
i pre-cut and pre-glued a few items:

 collar
ties in different patterned paper
(pre-glued to collar)
punched buttons
a pocket with the words
"the SECRET is out POPS,
you are the best DAD ever!"
a small handkerchief
(pre-glued to the pocket)
black belt
and the words
"happy FATHER'S day"
the children worked on their gifts
while i gave the lesson
on the
TREASURES
received
(lesson 21)
when being BAPTISED and
  CONFIRMED a member
of the church of JESUS CHRIST of
latter-day saints.
they listened intently and shared in the discussion.
 TREASURE
taking the name of CHRIST upon me
receiving the gift of the holy ghost
being forgiven when i make mistakes.

TREASURE
visitors that joined us in primary.
TREASURE
the sweetest little class
 i have the opportunity
to teach the gospel to each week.
TREASURE
that noah has a FATHER
that loves him
and honors the priesthood
TREASURE
the random gifts that show thought
"C's" candy
(get it "SEES" chocolates)
the above is becka's "C's" version versus the other "SEE's"

rick says
my jokes aren't funny if i have to explain them
dr. POPPER
POPcorn
and his own bag of
TREASURES

TREASURE
a visit from my parents
and a chance to say
happy FATHER's day to my DAD
in person...

and the absolute most wonderful
TREASURE
to TREASURE
 i TREASURE

and what TREASURE
does one give
  HEAVENLY FATHER?

HIS WILL
"we should bring our wills into subjection to the will of the father,
and feel to say,
'what is the will our our father,
whom we are here in the world to serve?'"
