was to be simple

and humble

no christmas dishes

rather

paper plates

enjoy just a few
hors d'oeuvres

watch disney's version of the
christmas carol

bask in the freshly fallen snow

on a peaceful silent night

deliver a few gifts

make cookies for santa

open new pajamas from
grandma and grandpa

kneel in gratitude

for our savior

his birth

his life

his example

and appreciation

for
the twelve days of christmas

and
a white christmas
