 cabin cooking is always an adventure for me to observe

one--because i don't cook

two--limited space

three--lots of people

but

the bodine/hart team

have the

EATERY
down to a perfect science

mouth watering delicious meals and treats

while we were guests

blueberry or ghiradelli chocolate chip pancakes

a bit of peanut butter

and almost a reeses pancake

another morning,

fluffy german pancakes

with a tangy orange maple syrup

nacho grande
for lunch 
hamburger, tomatoes, mozzerella and cheddar cheese
with homemade guacamole and sour cream

something maybe even i could make
chicken salad
howard barbecued hot dogs, hamburgers,
fingerlickin' lipsmakin' delish
barbecue ribs on the grill
lisa livened up spaghetti noodles with
a tasty red sauce and gihugeous meatballs
and on another night
doctored up the baked beans
to live for !

i know one night,

chicken sesame 

served over white rice

was an entree

because i devoured the leftovers.

there is always an assortment of fresh fruit

and salad greens.

one cannot forget

the treats that hide in the freezer

and all the things you can do with 

marshmallows

gooey chocolate marshmallow brownies

the inevitable s'mores

the banana boats

topped with chocolate chips,

 reeses peanut butter cups, 

milky ways

 melted in the campfire

and a few miniatures to float

in a cup of warm cocoa

after a night ski run

i have three words

mmmmm  mmmmm mmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!
