CHRISTMAS IN MONTANA AND THE SWEET SHOP {4}

is a must stop
for children and adults alike...
rows and rows
of barrels and barrels of candy
old fashioned candy,
mary janes
abba dabba
licorice wheels
bit o honey
rootbeer barrels
handmade fudge
homemade taffy
gummy everything
and more and then some more
where noah found the candy
distracting,
i found the adjoining shop,
distracting.
adorable, very profound
words of wisdom
in every direction
i hear the voice in my head dialogue
as i browse through this little darling of a shop...
follow me in this conversation.
"i will choose happy"
"christmas in july...not the first time i have heard that.
i like the tray...joy. believe. noel. christmas. peace..."
"i'm full of potential"
"that's right...grow, journey, become...become, yes, but become what?"
"'because i said so...'
mmm...that's what i want on my t-shirt"
"owls...owls...what's with all the owls ?"
"oh how much is this one? this one i must have nailed to my door...
a lived in home, is sometimes messy...
that's a good thing, right?"

"lots of pillow talk these days"
"perfect... i know what i will bring home for rick...lol"
and then i hear
"that will be $10.00"
and noah's little voice,
"i'll go get my mom"
what was $10.00?
jaw breakers ?!?!
he spent $10.00 on jaw breakers !!!
if you're going to be distracted,
i can't think of a better place...
surrounded by sweet treats and sweet thoughts.
if you are in the area
and needing a pick me up...
be it sugar or encouraging words
THEN
step inside
