FORGIVENESS

last week,
we said good bye to charlie
today,
we welcomed a new teacher
sister tindell
and a new boy
the ebb and flow of life
last week,
a lesson on the atonement
today,
a lesson on
FORGIVENESS
the ebb and flow of primary.

sugardoodle linked to an adorable
(lesson 23)
happiness is to FORGIVE
or be a
GRUDGE MONSTER

happy or angry by lisa hill
*love the flag on the dress and the shirt.
with the 4th of july a few days away,
we tied our celebration of our freedom to choose how we will act
be happy? or be a grudge monster?
treat option--"ROLL UP"
the atonement and forgiveness are ROLLED UP into a powerful principle
forgiveness formula added and ROLLED UP = LOVE
the class attached the lesson formula
to the paddle
FORGIVE
when others hurt us,
are unkind in any way.
get rid of the feelings of anger,
forget the unkindness,
treat the person with kindness and
LOVE

i learned this morning
this is a lesson
i don't ever outgrow.

SUNSHINE ON MY TOOTSIES MAKES ME HAPPY

one thing i love about a new school year is new school shoes.
it seems as though the variety of colors and styles are endless.
i love to see the expression on noah's face when he puts on a new pair of shoes.
his smile radiates pure SUNSHINE and that makes me HAPPY
infact it is worth all the money that i do not have.
i love a new pair of shoes as much as the next person,
but there are some shoes that just plain make me HAPPY and smile.
i found a few fitting that very description at my place of employment.
early light is adorned with the bright brights as in a pair worn by a student named will...
notice the difference in shoelace color...
that is going the extra bright mile.
then there is ari...she is as bright in personality as in the shoes that she wears.
she just happened to be spotted with another young woman who found orange to be her bright pick. just seeing these shoes of SUNSHINE step down the hall along with other bright brights made me happy that i had my camera with me.
i wonder...if i had a bright yellow pair of shoes...
would my countenance SHINE brighter? would my load feel lighter?
 would my steps be chipper?
would there be a skip in my stride?
would others notice me in the way that i noticed my students?
would my shoes make someone else smile?
i really do not know
but it is worth finding out...next purchase...

MADS AND ANJ IN REAL LIFE

i am supposed to be working on something...
anything that gets me closer to my goal
a house of order and sips of LEMONADE
i glance to see if ifhs is having a 30 year reunion...
it hardly seems plausible
  i have summer school tomorrow
and so i browse the internet
looking for activities to accompany the novel we plan to read
and then i sit and sit and sit
  there is laudry piled high
16 plus projects waiting to be completed
one, two, no three maybe four blogs that need either catching up or wrapping up
i can't seem to pull myself away from the computer because then i will have to be productive
  ahh haa
MADS IN REAL LIFE
 yes maddie comes to mind

i decide to check
on my dear sweet niece's blog
her blog is just plain fun
 i always feel uplifted
she is probably the happiest person i know
the QUEEN OF LEMONADE
oh how i ought to take her example to heart
by the way, i received an adorable thank you
 from love. madly.
