TRACKING SPRING

SPRING is such a beautiful season

though

it sneaks up on you

and leaves in the blink oh the eye.

in the past

i have observed barren branches

that like magic

are clothed
in exquisite blossoms
and i wonder

when did that happen?

this year

i would not let it take me un aware

i was going to track SPRING

the next seven days

i photographed

the same five plants

at the same time each day

i almost could not bear
to part with it

i was able to relive

the joy that i felt on their

special day.

it is a rare occasion to find me without

my camera in hand

i love to look through them again and again.

pre rick and noah,

but now time and shelf space is an issue

i can't bear to throw away?
