what is the best thing that you have ever written? why? what was it about?

i have 60 + journals

numerous poems

a master thesis

essays of DWA topics

college papers

hand written letters

blogs and shutterfly books

one might think i would have to carefully ponder

this question...

maybe even review some of my writings

NOPE

i can answer unequivocally

i am in awe at her ability to handle

the challenges this life has brought her way

a beautiful woman that
appreciates and celebrates 

motherhood in such a beautiful,
 charming, storybook way
with her mr. nielsen by her side

words and capturing

 just the right moment in a photograph.

simple ideas to brighten the days of others

most especially her children and husband

she is a survivor of a plane crash

on a horrendous healing journey

(which continues today)

 of indescribable pain both of her physical body and spirit

  absence from the lives of her children

the pain of returning to their lives 

with a new, unfamiliar

i realized that my struggles that are,
 oh so different and seem so
inconsequential in comparison

have brought about similar thoughts and feelings

"how will my life ever be happy again?"

"has god forgotten me and my intense pain?"

"what lesson am i to learn?"

"how can this challenge ever be for my gain"

"i just can't possibly see a way"

"why, why, why, why?"
she picked herself up
and now is an inspiration to all.
oprah. anderson cooper. people magazine.
and many, many, more
all want to share her story
a message of hope to anyone that has been beaten down.
 get up each morning...grateful to be alive
what can i do? how can i make each day special?
how can i lift and inspire?
find a piece of heaven here
i will begin today in my own home.
