every now and again
rick will bring me home
a five star favorite...
an italian sandwich.
one bite
is all it takes
and it's the overdramatic
"mmmmmmmmMMMMMmmm"
with the most delectable sauce
oozing down my chin.
i had never thought to have him take me
to the eating establishment
from which the "wich" originated
then...one glorious day
while out running errands,
rick had an idea.
MOOCHIE'S
i took one look at the place
and new this was a
LYT FEATURE
an old bright building on an unlikely corner
232 east 800 south
www.MoochiesMeatballs.com
even mona lisa
is smiling over her meatball sandwich.
while rick and noah ordered
i meandered around
feeling grateful i had my cam...
mustard yellow ceiling to match the outside structure
( love the look of the brick wall peering through)
with classic red doors
the kitchen and main eating area is adjoined
to this little dining room
trimmed in black
vintage diner tables and booths
a little black door leading a little black dress to the ladies room
out front, a patio
wtih a live band playing on friday nights
it is just too quaint
the sandwiches had arrived
and the finger lickin' began
mmmmmMMMMMMmmmmmooochilicious !!!!
MOOCHIE'S is highly recommended
and received high reviews from
guy of diners, drive ins and dives
on the food network channel.
upon spreading the word and my personal recommendation,
someone else suggested that we try the meatballs...
we couldn't wait
superb!
grab plenty of napkins
