i was a scrapbook junkie long before
all the professional scrapbook stores.
i can't even begin to imagine what those same
scrapbooks would be like if i had possession
of all the cut outs, tools, paper,
fancy lettering,
borders and the like.
i discovered
i do not know if that is even around any more.
i have spent my dollars at roberts
and michaels
but appeal to the women population.)
i had made arrangements with mom and dad
to meet at the maverick on 90 south
just off the freeway.
i was game as i would be in the territory of a frozen yogurt.
i pulled into the parking lot when dad called.
they were stuck in
ongoing construction.
i climbed out of the car and saw the
i have passed by this charming aluminum
building a gazillion times.
i had felt the desire to peek inside,
but the location was inconvenient
for crossing freeway traffic.
today, i didn't have an excuse.
i stepped inside. wow. wow. and wow.
what a store.
i am sure had i known about this
place in earlier days,
i would have been penniless long ago...
everything and i mean everything was adorable.
i did not have a dime in my wallet.
i could not purchase a thing...
only look and look i did.
